FAQ

Common questions about Track the Itch.

Account and data

Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is tied to your account and is not shared except when you explicitly download or email a report or use a share link.

Can I have multiple pets?
Yes. Add each pet in Settings → Manage dogs and switch between them in the app. Each has separate logs and reports.

Reports and sharing

What’s in a report?
Profile, itch stats for the window, parasite status, treatments, notes highlights, itch chart, and clinical signs log (in the full report). See Download a report.

Free vs Pro reports?
Free: 14-day PDF download. Pro: longer windows (e.g. 30, 90 days) and the option to email the report and attach documents.

How do share links work?
If your app supports clinician share links, you can create a time-limited link so a vet can view the case. You can revoke the link in Settings/Docs.

Check-in and care

Do I have to log every day?
No, but daily check-ins make the 14-day strip and reports much more useful for you and your vet.

What if I miss a day?
You can leave the day blank or add a score later. The strip shows only days you’ve logged.

Where do I see what’s due?
Care tab and the care pulse on Home show due now / due soon. Reports also include parasite and treatment status.

For vets

Can I use this in my practice?
Pet owners can share reports or share links with you. The report is a PDF summary of owner-entered data — it’s not a substitute for your clinical judgment but is intended to support history-taking and follow-up.
