Itch score and symptoms

Understanding the 0–10 itch score and optional symptom tags.

Itch score (0–10)

You pick one number per day that best reflects how itchy your pet has been:

• 0–3 — Low or no itch.
• 4–6 — Moderate; worth tracking and possibly discussing with your vet.
• 7–10 — High or severe; your vet should be aware.

Scores 9–10 are treated as extreme in reports and may trigger a note that veterinary input is needed.

Symptoms (optional)

When you add details to a day, you can tag clinical signs and give each a severity (0–5):

• Scratch, lick, chew, rub, scoot, headshake

This helps you and your vet see patterns (e.g. more scratching on high-itch days).

Consistency helps

Logging every day — even with just a score — makes the 14-day strip and reports much more useful than sporadic entries.
