How to do a check-in

A check-in records your pet’s itch level and optional details for the day. Quick on calm days; more detail when you need it.

Steps

  1. Open the check-in — From Home, tap the main Check-in button or the bottom-nav check-in icon.
  2. Choose itch score (0–10) — Required. Tap the number that best matches how itchy your pet has been today.
  3. Optionally add symptoms — If you’ve noticed scratching, licking, chewing, etc., you can tag them and rate severity (0–5).
  4. Optionally mark care — Tick off any treatments or parasite prevention given today.
  5. Optionally add context — Notes, exposures (e.g. new food, swimming), or photos.
  6. Save — The check-in is stored and the Home strip updates.

Selecting the itch score alone is enough; the rest is optional. Add detail when it helps you or your vet.

In the app

  • Home shows a 14-day strip (Evidence Tape). Each day reflects your logged score; tap a day to edit or add detail.
  • Itch Log shows the same data in a fuller view and lets you extend the window (on Pro).

For your vet
Bring a recent PDF report (from Docs → Reports) so your vet can see the 14-day itch trend and any notes. A quick check-in each day makes the report much more useful.
