Adding treatments

Record medications, topicals, and other treatments so they appear in your care pulse and in reports.

Steps

1. Open the Care tab.
2. Add a treatment (name, type: oral / topical / injection / shampoo / other).
3. Optionally set dose, frequency, and start/end dates.
4. Mark the treatment active if the pet is currently on it.

When you give a dose, mark it as given on the relevant date. That helps the app show adherence and can be reflected in reports.

Types

• Oral — Tablets, capsules, etc.
• Topical — Spot-ons, creams.
• Injection — e.g. Cytopoint; may have an interval (days) for next due.
• Shampoo — Medicated shampoos.
• Other — Anything that doesn’t fit the above.

Treatments with intervals (e.g. monthly) will show in the care pulse as due when the next dose is due.
