Add your first pet

Before you can log check-ins or create reports, you need at least one pet profile.

Steps

1. Open Settings (gear icon) and go to Manage dogs.
2. Tap Add dog.
3. Enter your dog’s name (required).
4. Optionally add breed, sex, date of birth, and weight. These appear on PDF reports and help your vet.
5. Save.

You can add multiple dogs and switch between them in the app. Each has its own itch log, treatments, and reports.

Why it matters for reports

The details you add (breed, sex, DOB, weight) are included in exported reports so your vet has context. You can fill them in later if you want to start logging right away.
